The Challenge for 2025

In 2024, The Challenge was hosted and run in collaboration with the Defence Science Technology Laboratory (Dstl). They identified two challenge areas to support their visions of the future, with a primary emphasis on refining training methodologies and integrating state-of-the-art technologies for the future workforce. The challenge aimed to address real-world issues faced by today's end-users.

The Challenge is returning for its second in-person edition in Oslo in March. We are currently working with our collaborator for the 2025 theme, watch this space as we share this in the coming months.  Interested in participating? Contact Evie for an update as more information is revealed.

The Challenge: Highlight from 2024

The winner, Mission Decisions, presented technology that leveraged AI, machine learning, and collaborative data environments which met the needs of Dstl.

During the announcement, they were encouraged to collaborate with MAXRES, makers of VR headsets compatible with this technology. Three months later, they signed a partnership that emerged from the challenge. Catch MAXRES and Mission Decisions at this year’s show to learn more, and see them on the DualTech Stage to discuss their win and partnership.
