Adam Breed is the Chief of Innovation for Lockheed Martin’s Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) business. He is responsible for TLS’s Intellectual Property portfolio and Internal Research and Development (IRAD) strategy and execution. As the primary innovation architect, he is the engineering and technology liaison across business functions, strategic initiatives, and external partnerships. Adam’s goals are centered around creating advanced technology that is affordable, scalable, and portable by leveraging innovation across defense and commercial industries.

Recently, Adam was the TLS line of business Digital Transformation coordinator and was responsible for ensuring the adoption of advanced technologies and processes including model-based engineering and software factories. During that time, Adam was heavily involved in shaping and developing Extended Reality (XR) simulation devices and next generation persistent training environments that supported novel point-of-need training requirements.

Prior to his Chief role, he was the Engineering Project Manager of Prepar3D®, Lockheed Martin’s flagship commercial flight simulator platform. Adam directed all aspects of the Prepar3D simulation program, including worldwide commercial product launches. During his career at Lockheed Martin, Adam has supported multiple simulation programs spanning the training spectrum, including efforts for the F-35, F-16, C-130, PC-21, Stryker Mobile Gun System, and Orion.

Adam has a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida. He has been with Lockheed Martin since 2008.
