Major General Bogdan Rycerski was born on 6 December, 1971 in Wohyń, Lubelskie Voivodeship, Poland. He assumed the command of the Joint Force Training Centre in Bydgoszcz, Poland on 30 September 2024.

 

Military career:

1995 – Platoon Leader, 4th Armored Cavalry Brigade, Orzysz (POL)

1995–2000 – Tank Company Commander, 4th Armored Cavalry Brigade, Orzysz (POL)

2000–2002 – Tank Company Commander, 15th  Mechanised Brigade, Giżycko (POL)

2004–2010 – Tank Battalion DCOM, then Brigade OPS Section Chief, 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade, Świętoszów (POL)

2010–2011 – Tank Battalion Commander, 34th Armoured Cavalry Brigade, Żagań (POL)

2011–2017 – Tank Battalion Commander, then Brigade Chief of Staff, 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade, Świętoszów (POL)

2017–2020 – Deputy Commander, 15th Mechanised Brigade, Giżycko (POL)

2020–2021 – Commander, 15th Mechanised Brigade, Giżycko (POL)

2021–2024 – Chief of Staff, Multinational Corps Northeast, Szczecin (POL)

 

Service outside Poland:

2007 – Chief of INFOOPS MND-CS at the 8th rotation of PMC to Iraq

2010–2011 – DCOS OPS at the 8th rotation of PMC to Afghanistan
