Dr. Freyr Arinbjarnar has a PhD in AI from the University of York; his thesis is on intelligent, autonomous, Non-Player Characters for simulations and games. Freyr is the founder and director of Regin AI. Previously, he worked at Improbable Worlds Defence as AI lead and Senior Research Scientist. He also has extensive experience implementing large-scale distributed systems for finance as VP at Bank of America Merril Lynch and Associate at Goldman Sachs.
