Ken-Tore is the head of the Norwegian Army Training and Simulation Section and is thus subject matter responsible within the Norwegian Army for everything related to simulation and technology-based training devices as well as policy for education, training and exercises. 
Ken-Tore has been working with simulation in military training since 2004, in all domains live, virtual and constructive. In the first 14 years he was part of building up the Norwegian Army Combat Training Centre as an exercise manager, executive officer and commanding officer before assuming the position he now holds. In is current position he is responsible for the Norwegian Army Command and Staff Trainer. He has represented Norway in the SAAB Interoperability User Community, and is representing Norway in NATO M&S Simulation for Training and Operations Group – Land (STOG-L) and in the Urban Combat Advanced Training Technology – Live Simulation Standards (UCATT-LSS). Ken-Tore is an infantry officer and has been deployed to international operations as a platoon leader, a company commander and as a unarmed military observer. He has attended the Norwegian Military Academy, Infantry Captains Career Course at the US Army School of Infantry and the Norwegian Defense College.
