Dr. Michael Barrie MD is the Director of Clinical Education at SimX. Michael has extensive experience in medicine and medical simulation training through his role as a board-certified emergency physician and his academic work as faculty at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center before joining SimX. He is the primary clinical instructional designer for AFSOC simulation training at SimX, with a focus on TCCC training for USAF pararescuemen and special operations surgical teams, along with interests in advanced resuscitative care, austere resuscitative surgical teams, prolonged casualty care, and en route care simulation training.
