Dr. Robert Sottilare is the Vice President of Training Solutions at Soar Technology, LLC. He has over 40 years of experience in training science & technology and has published over 330 peer-reviewed technical papers with 3300 citations. His research extends AI to distributed simulations and adaptive training methods. He is the chief editor of the first six volumes of “Design Recommendations for Intelligent Tutoring Systems” book series, and is the father of the award-winning Generalized Intelligent Framework for Tutoring (GIFT), an open-source adaptive training architecture. Dr. Sottilare has also been honored with two lifetime achievement awards in modeling & simulation.
